The Jihad Continues Against Fitna and Free Speech.

Live Leak has caved into Islamist Thug threats of violence and taken down Fitna from their website. I still say these men are to be praised for releasing it before anyone else in the first place, and at least they have not been ambiguous about it.

Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, Liveleak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers.

This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realised LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.

Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one anothers culture.

We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high.

This is regrettable, but not in the least bit shocking. The Dutch PM spoke out in rejection of Fitna's message and said he was happy how well and peacefully the Muslims had been taking it. I suppose he has been spending all day with his Liberal friends, heads in the sand and asses in the air hoping that it all gets over quickly and they can continue to ignore the threat Islam poses on our security and on Western culture.
Actually, they not ONLY reject the assertion that Islam is in anyway a threat;NOW the Prime Minister has actually started to investigate whether or not Fitna violates Dutch hate speech laws. Here are some comments made by a Muslim man in North Carolina after the release of Fitna yesterday.

[W]e are interested in letting you know that Islaam will dominate all of Europe, including your hometown, and the Jizyah ( A tax on non-believers )will be established upon your Country, leaving all of the disbelievers in humiliation until they come to Islaam. Let us remind that there are thousands of Muslims living near you; so always expect the unexpected.

I don't think this is the unveiled threat of a single Muslim man, but the response of most Muslims who accept the doctrine their sickening Holy book espouses.

Thankfully Fitna HAS been released and has been authorized to be circled across the Internet. Youtube's 2-party version still stands and I'm sure theres plenty of blogs and sites hosting it.

What I find most shocking is that there are so few public figures, politicians mainly, that are totally unwillingly to stand up and support the release and the message in Fitna. Especially Politicians in Europe, where Muslim populations have boomed and Sharia has not just been creeping into law, but has been full-steam ahead. I do not oppose Muslims migrating wherever they please, but they must come to realize this is the West and here we respect individuals and don't respect any particular Religion. We are backed by the philosophy that man's life is his own.
